Who We Are

Arkansas Lighthouse Charter Schools focuses on providing opportunities for scholars to receive high-quality instruction through a unique academic curriculum. We embrace Every Student, engage Every Voice, and empower scholars Every Day by offering unique programs and access to life-changing opportunities that are possible only through educational equity.

We exist because there is a staggering achievement gap in the American educational system, resulting from multi-generational income inequities that significantly affect the quality of life in our communities.

The Arkansas Lighthouse Charter Schools team believes we can change these disparities, and as a result, transform lives. By offering a unique academic approach to children affected by these disparities, we offer scholars instruction that develops them academically and personally.

Mission: We engage, embrace, and empower scholars, families, and community members to create a vibrant, supportive, local ecosystem for ALL through education.

Vision: Arkansas Lighthouse Charter Schools scholars will be academically sound, technologically savvy, culturally competent, and sustainability-conscious

History of Arkansas Lighthouse Charter Schools

Arkansas Lighthouse Charter Schools opened its doors to families in 2009 at Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School- Elementary (K- 6). Since that time, we have expanded to include four additional campuses: Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School - Flightline (5-8), Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School- High School (7-12), Pine Bluff Lighthouse Charter School (K-8), and Capital City Lighthouse Charter School (K-5). We’re preparing scholars to be the next generation of industry leaders, ground-breaking scientists, and agents of social change.

Since 2016 our scholars have achieved a 97% graduation rate, a 95% college acceptance rate, and awarded nearly $20 million in grants and scholarships.
