Wendell Scales Jr. currently serves as the Deputy Director of Innovation at ARLCS and is a member of LeadAR Class 20. During the (NST) in Washington, D.C., he had the opportunity to engage with stakeholders and witness the development of policy firsthand. As a member of LeadAR, he and his colleagues had the privilege to meet with high-ranking government officials, agency representatives, congressional delegations, and community leaders to discuss current issues and identify potential solutions. This invaluable experience provided a hands-on learning opportunity that will undoubtedly prove invaluable in the future.
Collaboration with the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture plays a pivotal role in our continued efforts to enhance our AgriSTEM initiative.
