Our elementary scholars had an exciting visit from the Jacksonville Fire Department as part of Fire Prevention Week! Scholars got an up-close look at the fire truck, learned about the important gear firefighters use, and discovered lifesaving fire safety tips.
Firefighters shared how they respond to emergencies, demonstrated their equipment, and reminded us about the importance of having a family escape plan. The hands-on experience not only sparked curiosity but also reinforced valuable lessons in safety and community service.
