A native of Karachi, Pakistan, Hamza immigrated to Pine Bluff , Arkansas in 1996 where he and his family adopted the city as their new home. Since then, Hamza has earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas, a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and built a strong career in entrepreneurship and strategic innovations.
In 2014, he launched a medical scribing and transcription services startup while also serving as a Change Agent for Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. He served as a lead in crafting innovation programs for major clients including Walmart, Tyson, and J.B. Hunt. Hamza was recently named the Program Manager for Fintech Accelerator Programs with a Little Rock nonprofit called The Venture Center where he continues to work with entrepreneurs from across the world of financial technology to help scale and bring their solutions to market.
Hamza also Co-founded Momentum Venture Labs to help bring the next generation's community of problem solvers together. Located in the heart of downtown Little Rock, Momentum is a developing Venture and Innovation Studio created for innovators and eager minds to find community, access resources, and identify strategic opportunities for growth.
He is dedicated to impacting Arkansas Lighthouse scholars through social impact and innovation.
