Arkansas Lighthouse Academies News

We have had an amazing start to the 21-22 school year as we welcomed all of our superhero scholars back into the buildings. They were greeted by their superhero teachers, staff, and building leaders, along with the Flash, Superwoman, and Spiderman! What an exciting time to be a scholar at Arkansas Lighthouse Academies!

The following are a few reminders for families to consider regarding the health and safety of our school community:

  1. Mask are MANDATORY on all campuses grades K-12.
  2. Mask must be worn properly.
  • Worn over the nose at all times.
  • Breaks are built into the day for scholars. If a scholar needs a mask break prior to the designated time, they may inform their teacher who will provide a break immediately.
  1. Students displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 which may include but are not limited to fever, cough, headaches, body aches, loss of taste or smell, etc., should remain home.
  2. If your scholar must quarantine due to close contact or a diagnosis of COVID-19, our health team will have information and communicate when the scholar is able to return to school.
  3. Technology will be distributed to all scholars in the upcoming weeks so that it can be used inside of the classroom as well as if a scholar must be quarantined. Scholars will receive guidance on how to access and submit work electronically while quarantined.

We are attempting to do everything we can to keep our school community safe and healthy. It will take all of us being responsible and diligent in order to do so.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact your scholars building leader.

I look forward to serving each of you and our scholars in 21-22.

Keep Shining!
